Join us this September

in the hydrangea fields at Mountain Flower Farm in Vermont’s Mad River Valley.

With two ranges of the Green Mountains as our backdrop, you will learn all about flower farmer, Walt Krukowski, who specializes in peonies, lilacs, viburnum, flowering branches and hydrangea.  Walt will share his 20+ years of knowledge in cut flower production, while highlighting his specialty crop of hydrangeas.

Escape for this two and a half day floral retreat where you will be surrounded by your peers, beautiful New England foliage, and crisp fresh air! During this hands-on experience we will not only tour the flower fields & expand your sourcing knowledge but we will each design a farm inspired bridal bouquet and together create a breath-taking, foam free ceremony arch, framing the mountains.

As our guests, you are invited to stay at the certified organic family farm and retreat center, Knoll Farm. With a communal yurt village and the entire farm to ourselves we will be able to connect in a safe and welcoming space to dive deep into how to make real change in your business with breakout sessions and over family style meals. All meals prepared on property using organic and locally grown food. There are meditation yurts, hiking trails and fire pits for us to gather around. It’s the perfect setting to retreat at night after being inspired each day at Mountain Flower Farm.

FARMER: WALT KRUKOWSKI

Mountain Flower Farm is nestled in The Green Mountains of Vermont’s Mad River Valley. We are a family farm focused on quality, sustainability, and community. For over 20 years we have served discerning floral designers nationwide with grower direct overnight shipping.

Seasonal cut flowers love our cool mountain climate and rich organic soils! We take great pride and joy in producing some of the best quality fresh cut blooms available. Sustainable agriculture techniques like cover cropping, companion planting, and nurturing beneficial insect habitat provide the backbone of our #beyondorganic farming operations.
Without exception, our crops are grown in vibrant, healthy soil, with a balanced biological ecosystem, certain to contain abundant nutrients, minerals, and live soil microbes. We never use chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.

Our bloom schedule is delayed by Vermont’s slow to come and cool summer! When most sources for seasonal cuts have finished for the year, we are just getting started! Of particular note, is our peony crop, which is harvested from mid June - mid July.

Visit us online at mountainflowerfarm.com to learn more about all the crops we grow!
